Only misfits can solve this mystery!

Hey, welcome to my website…..

Hello, Kieran here. I’ve been a writer for nearly ten years, and have been lucky enough to have had four books published in that time. My latest book, The Misfits Club, is out now.

I’m from Mallow, Co. Cork, which is in Ireland, and I’ve always enjoyed writing. I started off by writing and photocopying my own local newspaper and persuading (mafia-style) my neighbours to buy it. Growing up, I played a lot of sport – often quite poorly – and read as many books as I could get my hands on. I’ve worked in different kinds of jobs – in offices, factories and warehouses – but writing books has been the best job I’ve had by far

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to get back to you. Thanks.

Visiting Schools, shops, and libraries

If you are interested in a visit from me to your organisation, drop me a line using the contact form on this page, and I’ll try to come back to you to discuss if we can sort something out.

I regularly visit schools throughout Ireland and can deliver talks about my books and the writing process to children from 3rd to 6th class. If you are interested in booking me for an event or would like more details, please click HERE.

Want to Ask me Questions…… ?

If you just want to ask me some questions about my books or the writing process you can use the contact form (best if you put something in the ‘subject’ line of the form).

I’m also on Twitter (@kmarkcrowley), or Facebook (facebook.com/mightydynamo). Feel free to follow/like me on these.

Colm thinks that spending a fortnight with his cousin The Brute is the worst thing that can happen to him this summer. He’s about to find out that he’s wrong. While driving The Brute home, Colm and his parents stop for the night at a quiet, old hotel. The Brute falls in love for the first time, with the mysterious American granddaughter of their hotel owner and forces Colm to help him win her over.

When strange things begin to happen, Colm finds himself in the middle of a baffling and exciting adventure. Colm and The Brute must overcome their dislike of each other and work together if they’re going to find Colm’s parents and solve the murky mystery of the Lazarus Key.

It's been over a year since the terrifying events at the Red House Hotel and everything is back to normal, but Colm is still uneasy. He suspects there's someone evil lurking in the darkness, someone who's planning a terrible revenge. When strange things begin to happen again, he's plunged back into a world of sarcastic detectives and frightening mercenaries, awkward romance and the supernatural. Dealing with street bullies and overprotective parents is nothing compared to this.

And to make matters worse, if the master criminal known as The Ghost finds the two remaining Lazarus Keys he will become extremely powerful. More powerful than anyone who has ever lived. The only people who can unravel the mystery and stop The Ghost are Colm, his annoying cousin, The Brute, and a pretty American teenager. Time is running out and the clock is ticking. But how do you stop what you can't see?

More than anything, Noah Murphy wants to be a professional soccer player—and participating in the Schools' World Cup qualifiers might be just what he needs to get scouted. But when he's suspiciously banned from his school team for something he didn't even do, all his dreams come crashing down.

Determined to live up to his Mighty Dynamo nickname, Noah must find his own way to enter the contest no matter what it takes. With his best friend Stevie on tactics, and the skills of some unlikely new teammates, he's soon ready to take on the world—just as long as no one plays foul.

Nothing exciting ever happens in the small town of Newpark where Brian, Hannah, and twins Chris and Sam live. And when they start their summer vacation, they know it’s the end ofan era. The Misfits Club, a club they started when they were 8 years old, is disbanding and they still haven’t managed to solve any real mysteries.

But when they persuade new club member Amelia to go and investigate a spooky old house, they unexpectedly discover some stolen goods.

Could this be their chance for one last adventure? One thing is for sure though: Newpark is decidedly more exciting now.
